Our trained packers work systematically through every room in your home, using purpose-built double-walled moving boxes,bubble-wrap, paper packing and even bespoke wooden crates for oversized items.
No item is too small or awkward. From everyday kitchenware to fragile ornaments, each piece is individually wrapped, labelled and placed securely in the correct size of box. Every box is sealed, inventoried, and marked with its destination room, give you a clear record of everything you need moved.
Export-Grade Wrapping
for Furniture and Large Items
All your furniture, from sofas and wardrobes to dining tables and mattresses, are wrapped in export-quality blanket wrap and protective sheeting before loading. For oversized, unusually shaped, or particularly valuable pieces, we construct purpose built wooden crates lined with custom foam and padding, providing the same protection standard used by professional art handlers and fine art shippers. This ensures your furniture can withstand the trails and tribulations of international transit, whether that is a short European sea crossing or a ten-week voyage to the other side of the world.
Full Inventory & Documentation
A detailed, room-by-room inventory is produced for every item we pack. Listing descriptions, quantities and estimated values where required by customs authorities. This inventory forms the foundation of your customs documentation – essential for Transfer of Residence Relief applications for EU moves post-Brexit, and is also a requirement for customs declarations in virtually every international destination. A copy of this inventory is provided to you for your own records and the document should also travel with your consignment.
Customs & Compliance Preparation
Our 5* removal teams take the complexity out of customs by advising you at the pre-removal survey stage on exactly what documents are needed for your specific destination. For moves to EU countries, we help you understand complete the Transfer of Residence (ToR) application, which allows certain personal effects to imported duty-free. We then coordinate with our Euromovers destination partner to ensure the consignment is correctly declared on arrival and that nothing is held unnecessarily at the border.
Container Loading and International Shipping
Once our team are done packing and wrapping, they will load the goods into the shipping container with every item positioned correctly to maximise space, balance the load, and minimise any potential movement during transit. For smaller moves (groupage shipping) where your goods share container space with other customers’ consignments is a more cost-effective option. However, groupage items can take longer to arrive than direct shipments due to multiple destinations and handling. For full household moves, a sole-use container offers the fastest and most secure solutions, and in many cases allows for a more flexible shipping schedule. All container loading is covered with CCTV and supervised by our international move coordinators.

How far in advance should I book a full pack service?
We recommend getting in touch at least 8–12 weeks before your planned move date, particularly during the peak summer moving season (June to August). This allows time for us to conduct a thorough pre-removal survey, prepare all customs documentation, and secure the appropriate shipping schedule for your
destination. For moves with a fixed completion date, such as a property sale, earlier contact gives you more options and greater flexibility.
Will your team pack absolutely everything in my home?
Yes, absolutely! Our full pack service covers every room in your home, including the garage, loft, and garden shed (for eligible items that can be legally exported and imported at the destination). We will discuss any items you wish to transport separately, leave behind, or dispose of during the pre-move survey, and we'll flag any items that cannot be shipped due to destination country import restrictions.
What happens to my belongings at the other end?
Your consignment is received by our Euromovers partner agent at your destination. They handle port
customs clearance and arrange final delivery of your items to your new home. For many destinations, an
unpacking service is also available, where our destination partner's team places furniture and boxes in
the correct rooms and removes all packing materials, so you arrive to a home that is ready to live in.
Is my stuff insured during the move?
Yes. We offer comprehensive marine transit insurance covering your goods from collection at your Scottish home to delivery at your destination. The level of cover, any excess, and the declarations process are all discussed and agreed as part of your quotation. We strongly recommend insuring your goods at full replacement value. Don't worry though, our team will walk you through the options.
